Careful manual testing first, AI where it removes the busywork
I'm a Senior QA Engineer with 8 years of experience across enterprise insurance, SaaS, eCommerce, and mobile. At Dyad Tech, I work on QA for the Nexsure Insurance Platform — policy, claims, and accounting workflows — from test planning through release validation.
Earlier I tested cybersecurity products (Morphisec, CrowdStrike) and ServiceNow ITSM, plus SaaS, eCommerce, web and mobile apps — functional, regression, API and security testing.
I use Claude Code, Cursor and GitHub Copilot to speed up the repetitive parts of QA, and have built AI-assisted QA tools as working prototypes, demoed to my team — structured bug reports from tickets, test-case drafting and coverage views.

ISTQB CTFL certified (Dec 2024). I run risk-based test planning and defect triage across the insurance domain, drove QA process documentation in Confluence, and have mentored junior QA engineers from supervised work to independent delivery — at both Dyad Tech and Crest Data Systems.

I apply AI only where it removes repetitive QA work — structured bug reports, coverage-gap analysis, test-case drafting, and release dashboards a manager can read in minutes. The judgment about where not to use it is the point.
How I Build AI QA Tools
I describe what I need in plain English and use Claude Code CLI, GitHub Copilot, and Cursor IDE to build working internal tools. Each one solves a real problem from my QA work and has been built end to end and demoed to my team. I use AI to move fast without sacrificing quality or structure.
Each tool went from a described need to a working demo — without a separate dev team or a multi-sprint build.

AI tools I built for QA work on Dyad Tech's Nexsure insurance platform (working prototypes, demoed to the team), plus a live wellness app.
Turns any Jira ticket into a complete, standardised bug report in one step — preconditions, repro steps, root-cause hypothesis, severity, and acceptance criteria — using Claude AI. Consistent format on every ticket, replacing slow manual write-ups.
Connects Zephyr Scale and GitHub to map test coverage across the Nexsure platform's modules, surface gaps, and auto-generate QA manager reports — turning a slow manual process into an instant dashboard.
JSON-driven Selenium 4 + Java 11 + TestNG framework. Runs complex end-to-end insurance flows from a data file — no code changes needed per test. Reusable action types, Allure reports, and RestAssured API validation built in.
Pomodoro timer + wellness tracker built for developers and QA engineers. Water intake, 20-20-20 eye breaks, posture checks, 6 desk exercises, and daily streaks. Zero dependencies, works fully offline.
Reads a Jira ticket's description, acceptance criteria, and user stories, then uses Claude AI to return a full structured test suite — preconditions, step-by-step actions, and expected results, exported to Excel — with each case traceable back to the requirement it came from.
